A rare gem of a textbook, highly recommended.

Excellent text. I do not keep every textbook from my classes. This one has earned a place in my collection. Very well written and complete textbook on security policies and implementation. The author is able to toe the line of going too in depth, but does not. The detail is phenomenal. I feel very well prepared to have conversations about security issues in a business environment. I will be referring to this text when building and implementing my own security policies.

hard to follow

I think the table of contents provides a good outline of how the book should flow but the content seems off. I have an associated lab book and I have a very hard time translating the info from the book into practical application. Maybe it's me.
